HTB hopes to foster a community within a community, where kids feel safe and enjoy spending their after-school hours.
HTB will initially employ passive mentorship, whereby the Executive Director, Director of Mixed Martial Arts, and dedicated volunteers will act as role models through their daily interactions with our Students.
Additionally, HTB will provide dinner daily for HTB Students to foster a communal experience and bonding amongst the Students, tutors, and Hit the Books staff.
We believe that trusted partners and role models are core to our Students' development. Over time, we will include one-on-one peer mentorship, counseling, and career resources as part of our program offerings.
